About the Course
This ten-module course provides participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of illumination. It gives a comprehensive overview of basic lighting principles, lamp and luminaire types, lighting calculations, and controls, as well as functional and aesthetic applications best practices. This course is ideal for architects, engineers, designers, contractors, sales reps, customer service reps, manufacturers, distributors, and students. A description of each module is below:

FOL 2024 will be a hybrid format with both in-person and online sessions. The first Tuesday and final Saturday session will be taught in-person for hands-on learning. Attendance with audio and video is required for online sessions. A recurring Zoom link will be sent out to registrants before the second session. The in-person sessions will be taught in Denver at a to be determined location.
Pre-registration is required and registration fees must be paid in advance. Your registration fee includes all course materials, which are electronic and will be emailed to you prior to the start of the course.
Dates & Times
FOL 2024 will be held over a period of three weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, ending with a Saturday "sprint" finish on May 4th.
